Dough Art Creativity Workshops 2018 - "Learn, Laugh Linger and be Inspired!"
We all possess a creative spark! We are born with the tools - our innate imagination, curiosity and
playfulness. But many of us are plagued with fear, self-doubt and uncertainty about our
creativity. I hope you will spend a few hours with me to re-discover or perhaps discover the
beautiful gift of creativity.
In each workshop you learn the basics of bread dough sculpture while creating a different project.
Basics include mixing your clay from bread and glue, using simple shapes to create a each figure,
and finishing techniques to preserve your figure for generations to come.
Workshops also include an elegant "Afternoon Tea" with tea sandwiches, scones, indulgent
desserts and a duo of teas . Register early because classes fill quickly Scroll down to see complete

Workshop Notations -
Fees and Location for workshops & tea parties are listed in class descriptions. Most workshops
are held in my kitchen studio in Westerville, Ohio. I also will be teaching at Pine Grove Farm, in
the farmhouse I grew up in. The 250-acre farm is located just north of Cardington, OH., off I-71
exiting at OH-61 W (exit 140). It is approximately 45 min. from Columbus, 2 hours from
Cleveland, 3 1/2 hours from Pittsburg.
Registration: To register please e-mail me at firstname.lastname@example.org or call me at
614-565-7639. Workshops must be paid for at time of registration to reserve your spot. Cash,
check or charge is accepted. Class size is limited to 9 participants. Don't hesitate to ask to added
to a waiting list for full classes.
Call or e-mail to inquire about scheduling your own workshop & tea party in my home. A
minimum of 7 (maximum 9) guests is required.
Supples: The fee includes everything you need except the optional finishing kit (polymer resin,
brush,screen and container $5.00) available the day of class.
Cancellations: There is a 14-day cancellation policy. If your space cannot be filled within that
two week time I will be happy to mail you all instructional hand-outs used in class, but no
class refund will be made. Thank-you for your understanding.

Description: The day begins by making the Woodland
Snowman perched upon his twig chair. Learn how fun it is to
make Christmas treasures with bread dough clay! The
afternoon is filled with gingerbread boys and other minatures to
decorate or use as gift tags for family and friends.
The afternoon tea includes delightful teas paired with homemade savories, scones and pastries.
The vintage tablescape is the final touch to a spectacular tea experience.

Afternoon Tea: "Springtime in the Country"
Saturday. May 5, or May 12, 2018 11:00-4:00
Class Fee: $65.00
Description: Join me to create this little bit of magic from bread dough clay! Making the 3-inch
fairy begins our day. Her simple dress is made by using leaf cookie cutters and her silk floral
wings complete the look. Her hair is so much fun! The afternoon is filled with making miniature
delights - mushrooms, fairy houses and maybe a gnome or two will make an appearance.
Everything is provided for you, even the teacup!
Welcome the season with a lovely springtime tea. The menu includes trays of dainty scones, tea
sandwiches, herb strewn savories and flower bedecked sweets.
